About LindseyLindsey Chamberlain Strong (she/her) is a tattoo artist and witch based in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Lindsey has spent the past eight years perfecting her fine line botanical tattoos inspired by the flora, fauna, and beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Her designs evoke a sense of magic and connection to the earth, ensuring each piece tells a story uniquely tailored to the individual.
As a passionate advocate for fat liberation and body positivity, Lindsey believes in the importance of celebrating all bodies. Body liberation is not just a principle she stands by; it’s woven into the very fabric of her artistic vision. She creates a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, honoring and embracing diversity in every form. |
About Lindsey's studioWelcome to Rain and Forest Tattoo, where art meets accessibility! More than just a tattoo studio; we are a creative sanctuary designed with our clients’ comfort and well-being in mind. Nestled in SE Portland, our cozy little studio is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone who walks through our doors. Mission I believe that the art of tattooing should be accessible to all. My mission is to break down barriers in the tattoo industry by creating an environment where individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences feel comfortable expressing themselves. Whether it’s your first tattoo or adding to your full sleeve, I'm dedicated to ensuring your experience is as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible. |
Accessibility First We understand that a visit to a tattoo studio can be daunting for some. That’s why we have taken special measures to ensure our facility is accessible to everyone. My tattoo bed has a weight capacity of 800 lbs and I have various bolsters, chairs, stools, and other accoutrement to ensure the utmost of bodily comfort during your session. As a neurodivergent, I also try to make my tattooing as ND accessible as possible and I'm happy to talk about any accommodations that can be made. My tattoo machine is very quiet, I use entirely unscented products, and the studio itself is very low key - although there is a lot of visual stimuli to keep your eyes busy! I am also happy to accommodate requests for mostly silent appointments! |
Community Focus We regularly host workshops and events aimed at promoting body positivity, self-expression, and creative exploration. We actively engage with local organizations to support marginalized bodies and promote inclusivity within the Portland tattoo culture! Join the mailing list to stay on top of upcoming events! Come hang! Whether you’re looking for a unique piece of art, a cover-up, or a meaningful tribute, we invite you to experience the artistry and comfort of Rain and Forest Tattoo. We can’t wait to create something beautiful together! |
