Thanks so much for your interest in getting tattooed - I truly appreciate it and look forward to meeting you soon!
A few things to note before submitting your request:
The Process
Once your proposal is submitted it will usually take a few days for me to respond. If your proposal is approved you will receive a Square invoice via email to place a $100 deposit (which goes towards the cost of your tattoo) as well as an email from me with instructions to confirm an appointment time, and a quote for the total cost of your tattoo. If your idea is outside your budget I will definitely let you know and give you options for how we can make it work. Please plan to pay the $100 deposit and schedule your appointment within 2 days of receiving the invoice. At this point you are good to go! I will contact you via email about any design questions and you may send any reference images then. Because I am traveling we will be unable to consult in person before the tattoo, so if this is a problem please plan to come get tattooed at my home studio instead!
If your proposal is not approved I will contact you with alternative ideas, or recommendation for another artist who would be a better fit stylistically. I want to make sure you get a tattoo you're stoked about, whether it's from me or not!
Rates
My tattoos are flat rate based on size and placement (on your body), and generally range from $300-$800 except in the case of extremely large/heavily detailed pieces (full sleeve, full back, etc). My custom tattoo minimum is $300 and this typically covers most small pieces anywhere and medium pieces on limbs.
Deposits
Travel deposits are non-refundable. Due to the short turn around and being from out of town I cannot be sure that I'd be able to fill a spot last minute. In case of emergency you may transfer your deposit to an appointment at my home studio in Portland.
Drawings
Due to my workflow I am not able to send drawings before tattoo appointments. Rest assured that I am happy to make any changes day-of and I do all of my drawings digitally and in a way that makes editing relatively smooth and simple.
